Though the pants became popular at academic and industrial fronts, women trousers were still to become a fashion statement. This happened later, towards end of 20th century; women in west became conscious of their fashion statements as pants started meeting more of their outdoor demands like for horse riding, working in mines etc. Apparently, the wear was turning as a popular practical garment in work sphere. By the end of 20th century the market recorded to be five times more in comparison to bygone decades.
This smart and practical work wear though have evolved out of poverty and crises but they have made a place for themselves in women closet effectively. They still remain to be one of the women all time favorite apparel as they give them a very confident practical approach towards life. Moreover, looking at the history it seems women and women trousers together have fought their rights out in the male dominated world of 20th century.
